Refunds and Returns

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your order prior to dispatch, please email info@lewisancompany.co.uk or call +44 207 487 5961 immediately. If your order has already been dispatched, please follow the procedure outlined below.


UK Mainland and Northern Ireland

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product/s purchased, you can return your order to us within 28 days for a full refund or exchange. If you exercise your right of cancellation after the items have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning your order to Lewis & Co at your own cost. 
Further, you must take reasonable care to ensure the items are not damaged in the meantime or whilst in transit. Lewis & Co reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount if we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition.

Return an item within 28 days in perfect condition together with original packaging and we will be happy to refund the original price of the item or send you an exchange. We, however, are not able to refund your delivery costs.

Please note that bespoke furniture, special orders, flat-packed items that have been assembled, made-to-order items, gift vouchers, personalised items and perishable goods can only be returned or exchanged if faulty.

Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible after arrival at our Marylebone Shop.

Credit can be used against your next order, in the shop or online.

This does not affect cancellations or your statutory rights.


Returns Procedure

  1. To begin the returns procedure please email us at info@lewisandcompany.co.uk with the account details you used to place the order, including Order Number, Name, Shipping Address and method of payment. Please note that returns can only be handled via email, and not by telephone. Should you have any questions on the Returns Procedure, you may of course call our Customer Service team on +44 207 487 5961 to discuss.
  2. Once you have submitted your returns request, you will then be sent a returns note and returns label detailing the address that you need to send your parcel(s) to. A separate return label will be provided for every parcel you are returning. Place the returns note inside the parcel and clearly and securely attach the returns label to the outside of the parcel. This paperwork is essential for us to identify your return. PLEASE NOTE we cannot accept returns or process refunds if the paperwork is not attached to each parcel. If returning a faulty item please indicate if you require a replacement or refund. Please remember that in order for the return to be processed without delay you must ensure that the goods are wrapped securely in the same outer packaging in which you received them.
  3. All returned goods will be examined upon receipt as we are unable to offer refunds on any used goods. We will process your return as quickly as possible and will notify you by e-mail once your refund or replacement has been processed. During busy periods, please allow a maximum of 30 working days for your refund, replacement or exchange to be processed.
  4. Your payment for the goods will be refunded by Lewis & Co as soon as possible by the original payment method, no later than 30 working days after we have received the goods. Please note that delivery charges are not refunded.
