Whether your taste is classical or contemporary, formal or casual, I believe that design should be an extension of your personality.   In those instances where our clients know exactly what they’re looking for, we work with them to bring their vision to life.  However, most often we’re approached by clients who are searching for a fresh perspective and a bit of guidance.  In these cases, we spend a lot of time getting to know them personally:  personalities, tastes, preferences, likes and dislikes.  In the end, our aesthetic combines multiple design styles to create elegant, yet comfortable space that our clients are proud to call home.

I first became interested in design, growing up in Puerto Rico…where rich colours, latin culture and a tropical lifestyle exposed me to an eclectic mix of styles.  From Puerto Rico, I moved to New York where I suddenly found myself surrounded by urban architecture and experienced ‘city living’ for the first time.  This gave me a unique opportunity to develop my own sense of design, combining a more contemporary, minimalist style with the more distinctive and vibrant style of the Caribbean.  In New York, I began to design homes for friends…first in manhattan and soon thereafter I found myself presented with opportunities in the Hamptons and not too long thereafter in California.

After 10 years in New York, I moved to Los Angeles where I worked closely with my mentor Tim Clarke.  Working with Tim, I was now even more exposed to a new “coastal” style, working with clients on their California beach homes, while still having opportunities to work on urban retreats and country and tropical homes.

After six years with Tim, the opportunity arose to relocate to London.  Settling into Marylebone in 2009, I was presented with some great design projects from the get go.  These have included a home in the English countryside, a holiday home in Mallorca and private residences in and around London including: Kensington, Marylebone, Sussex and the Home Counties.

I hope that by looking at my portfolio, you will get a strong sense of my personal style, yet also my ability to adapt to match the needs and desires of my clients.  Of course, don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to simply have an initial brainstorming conversation.
